I figure the whole affiliate model is going to change. Most of the programs will just hire people to build feeder sites for them.

We've already seen the increase in things like hosted galleries (kind of cuts the middleman out of the TGP picture).
Some of my customers are doing just that Sykk. Not to sound spammy, but since it's very much on topic. I remember when CE hired that group of 150 webmasters with something like with three or five supervisors to make traffic sites. Figured there had to be a better way, more automated, less overhead than recurring employee salaries, even be they part-time or limited-time.

To knock my own product (which I do all the time, privately, cause I'm always striving to constantly improve it), there are a couple of better paysite management ONLY scripts out there than CG. (That one part of CG needs some improving, even though it still makes killer image areas and that's the real bitch of getting a new paysite up and going; and what's lacking will be taken care of in the next major version.) But the one thing none of the other products out there have is "the whole ball of wax" to CG's level. Even sponsors who've had their own paysite CMSs created, have rarely ever bothered with going beyond that and created something that makes sites and galleries and POTDs ans such in order to generate their own traffic.

CE was very smart in what they did at that time. As to how they did it, a couple hundred webmasters over a year-and a half can now be accomplished with a single program and only a few employees now and in a fraction of the time. Can't beat that ROI. Definitely the way to go with what the future has in store is to build your own traffic and do it as cost-efficiently and as expediently as possible.
