What they didn't tell you was that the accident happened right at an overpass. Some of the more daring piggies realized that if they hopped over the edge they would be free.. 30 feet up, but free.
I feel sorry for the people who were driving underneath the bridge. Heard about 30 made it over the edge before the humans realized what was happening and got them away from the bridge.
