Yes, there is a very real threat from Islamic fundamentalists. I don't think that all subscribe to that brand of Islam. You take the simple-minded approach. Not suprising, actually; - it is easier as it deesn't require anything complex, like thought. There are a lot of people who share your approach today - some of them because they are incapable of thought, some of them because it fits very well into whatever particular agenda they are trying to push forward.
The biggest problem I have is that putting something as simple-minded as your point of view into action as policy is the wet dream of the Islamic fundamentalists. Folks like you want us to become the most effective recruiter they have.

Pushaw! Everyone knows that cracking down on entire religious groups has the desired effect.
Look what it did to curb that pesky Christian problem in Rome. Perscuting those Mormons in the early days taught them a lesson. Those god damn Dutch reformers got their asses handed to them, now where are they? And the Jew problem, dont even get me started. Thank God Hitler got that problem under control.
