I would jump in here and have a bit of a go with you over some of the stuff you have stated here Buff but far be it from me to look as if I am in support of Labret in any fashion whatsoever.
However, your denigration of public education is getting a little hard to take. There are some of us here that were not fortunate enough to have rich mommies and daddys to pay for a private education but still somehow managed to come out of the system with some semblance of a mind. Further, there are many stupid idiots running around this world that are the products of private education.
The purpose of education is to teach you how to learn. Those that participate in their education, rather publically funded or privately funded end up with the ability to gather facts and form opinions. Those that do not participate in their education and merely go through the process end up with a bunch of disconnected information that was fed to them by teachers with their own personal agendas.
