In the United States there is more than enough hysteria and hot air surrounding the gun issue to account for a measurable percentage of global warming.
Look at some of the hyperbole floating around in this thread. The assertions of Internet constitutional scholars to the contrary, restrictions on what citizens can and can't carry are have been found to be in compliance with the Constitution, including the 2nd Ammendment - and we've been arguing about it since the Marshall started enforcing the laws when Dodge City started getting civilized.
