"Web Virus Writers, Senders Rarely Jailed"

http://www.siliconvalley.com/mld/siliconva...ley/6657374.htm

Chris Painter, the Deputy Chief of Computer Crimes at the U.S. Department of Justice, says in this article that virus/hacker cases are very hard cases. Painter was one of the federal prosecutors in the Kevin Mitnick case. On November 1, 2003, the consequences will be harsher; the U.S. Sentencing Commission has written tough new punishments for certain types of computer crimes. A virus sender who intends to cause death - by tying up 911 emergency telephone lines, for example - could face a life sentence.

To quote Christopher Painter, “Kevin Mitnick is a unrepentant wretch!” Mr. Painter also said in his article about supervised release that “in many hacker cases, the defendants have engaged in illegal conduct over a protracted period, are recidivists, or have otherwise demonstrated that they are unlikely to refrain from illegal hacking even after a conviction or imprisonment.”

I personally think this is the case with Kevin Mitnick. I agree with Mr. Painter that Kevin Mitnick has shown no remorse. Mitnick is a FAT FELON FUCK. He is currently going around the country speaking about security. He started out as an evil teenage cracker at a younger age than this Blaster Worm idiot from Minn who is in custody.

Throw away the keys! Dump these punks into prison. When they are out, if businesses are dumb enough to hire them, these crackers should be treated like *child molesters* and be forced to sign-in whenever they move or change jobs. Employers should be forced to read the information that Chris Painter and other prosecutors have put together about these crackers who never change their ways. I believe...once a cracker, always a cracker!
