that i can definitely agree with. i have been reading this board just as long as gfy and i am perplexed by the massive swing in online personalities. i guess i have always thought (as i have carried through live) to be yourself, never be fake, no matter where you are (in public, at work, at home, and online). being who you are all the time will never come and bite you in the ass.
maybe i am wrong, but i never felt or read the keyboard toughguy syndrome on this board. it's always been comparatively mellow and straight forward.
i was talking to my lawyer the other day and he said that within the next 2 years, the adult, online, biz will be the way it was back in 96. i am assuming by that comment, he was referring to the professionalism and dedication we all had at that time. and of course the money from that time wouldn't hurt either
maybe by that time, we will see the extreme swing of personalities disappear and people in this business conducting themselves as so.
