First thing you go for is the commie label eh...lol...
I consider the document in total...always.... The preamble establishes who is doing it and why they are doing it... It is a very important part of the constitution...
If you read further than you what you posted you will also find that...
Section 2 of article 1 defines the house of representatives:
"The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States"
and section 3 defines the senate:
"The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, chosen by the Legislature thereof, (See Note 3) for six Years; and each Senator shall have one Vote. "
this was later changed in amendment 17 to:
"The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; "
Thus making it perfectly clear that the Congress is elected by the people to represent the people and express their will through their legislative power...
Congress has somehow, somewhere gotten the idea that the FCC changes will not sit well with their "people" and are therefore against it....
