Years ago I had a short welcome audio on Fetish Network- Some people loved it, others hates it. I know that a lot of people logon from work or turn sound off at home from prying ears.
We brought audio back but only as stories/fantasies. We do really well with it. It's definately a huge draw to our sites.

www.keen.com - See their recorded advice. People can upload a .wav or call in and record directly into the system. This type of audiotext requires special programming but it definately can be done. I often wondered why more sites didn't offer audio, especially since phone sex was so big and is still a good market...especially in niche.
