Lee, I loved the technology, and I think you used it in a perfect format, but it could be used in so many more ways ...
picture this opranauts ...
you are scrolling through oprano, only the posts are audio messages ... jr can call up and call raw alex a moron, and we could refresh and watch/listen to new messages be added to the 'board' ...
the way it used to be set up was that the text links to the audio stream would display in a list like a chat board ... really simple to navigate
>>The only use in this industry would be getting a Porn star or phone sex person to talk over the lines. I could see it's use in the MLM websites though. All those guys like to do is talk talk talk (my father-in-law is big into it. he has a new pitch or phone call for me to listen to every week!)
Sharky, there's lots of uses in this industry ...
1) Personals sites, record a message on the internet just like on those cheesy phone lines that are advertised after midnight.
2) Amateur sites, live cam sites, live feeds etc, have the girls call up the phone line at random times and leave messages for the 'members' ...
3) Allowing members of a website (or fans of a pornstar) to call up the number and record a message for their favorite model.
4) Audio guestbook for ANY kind of website ...
The only way i don't see it working is as a voice ad on a website ... although i love the technology of having multimedia blasting from my computer, it gives me the shiznits usually.
