As for the recent allegations towards JoeE, I have been making my own inquiries into this matter, talking to a few people, getting their opinions and I just have to draw my own.
I have known Joe since 98, and back when he was running CEN, and there was the problems with AOL, his program getting shut down, anytime there was a problem, he always made it right somehow. Sometimes a little dark cloud hangs over some peoples heads, and its difficult to get that cloud to go away. I have never had a problem with Joe, never been fucked by him, he's always treated me great and back in the day, spent alot of $ at shows so webmasters could have a great time.
Recently I asked him for something, and he was more than happy to oblige.
Some people say he screwed them, I have many more saying that they respect him and they are still doing biz with him without consequence.
Maybe IM to trusting, or whatever, but I give everyone the same chance, and If I get fucked, its my own fault and deal with it if it happens, but I will also step back and determine if it was by accident or intentional.
