I definitely agree with most of what you've said Dianna... I have been micro-niche since I started. I have never been a prolific shooter, being a one person operation from day one.
This has been the primary reason for my not setting up a subscription site... like Photogregg mentioned above, I concentrate on quality, not quantity. I have always sold my work as physical products (photo CDs, videos and now DVDs) and individual downloadable series.
