Gynecologist charged with rape, sexual battery

CLEVELAND - A gynecologist was indicted on charges accusing him of raping and fondling patients during examinations.
A Cuyahoga County grand jury returned a 53-count indictment against Dr. Azzam Ahmed, 56, of suburban Moreland Hills, for rape, sexual battery and other charges.
Thirty-seven women ages 21 to 55 accused Ahmed, a doctor with 25 years' experience, of sexual wrongdoing, Assistant County Prosecutor James Gutierrez said.

does this REALLY surprise anyone?
what kind of guy wants to sit and look at vaginas all day long if he is not a freak? Lets be honest here. is a male gynecologist just concerned about the global issue of a cleaner, healthier vagina? how does one come to have a genuine medical and scientific interest in the vagina? how can it not possibly be sexual for a male?
If i were king of the planet, i would take every male that wanted to specialize vaginas and register them as sexual predators.
which also makes me wonder... what kind of person would become a proctologist? someone with an honest appreciation for assholes? that just freaks me out too. i am not saying that they may not be necessary, but its kinda like a politician.... the guy who really wants the job is probably the last person that should actually have the job.
exactly which part about being a proctologist is the most gratifying? whats that one thing that makes a proctologist wake up and say to himself "ah... i cant wait to get to the office today"? at least for a gynecologist, i could understand the motivation.
