I've never been in favor of a boycott against French products.

There has been a sharp drop in wine imports from France. One importer has said they had a
$500,000 drop in sales last month.
W.J. Deutsch & Sons noted a 10% drop in sales [$100s of thousands}.
W. J. Deutsch noted: "We have seen French wines decreasing. We've seen stores take French wines off the floor of their store. We've seen major chains stop the advertising of French wines in their weekly ads." He reported substantial increases in sales of Italian, Australian and Spanish wines."
