beating up the little girl down the street doesn't make you a great fighter, and beating up on a 3rd world nation doesn't make you a great President. Nobody EVER said Iraq had a chance to win this war, and I wouldn't have wanted them to win. I don't like Muslims. Neither does any other American, which pretty much throws this liberation bullshit out the window. If they don't find any 'weapons of mayass disrucshun' as George puts it, it's going to look even worse for him.
He's still going to be a one term joke. I mean, here's how I look at it: He's a rich kid who never had to work for anything in his life, and everything he's been given up to this point has been left in a worse state than it was in when it was handed to him. He's a warmonger who went AWOL during his own Vietnam era military service - normally a treasonous offense in wartime. He is, at the very best, a mediocre intellect of little accomplishment and littler ability who somehow landed in the most powerful position in the world. If we make it all the way thru his Presidency without blundering into war with China or Russia, without North Korea dropping bombs in South Korea and Japan, and without doing permanent damage to our NATO alliances it'll be dumb luck, emphasis on 'dumb'. Hopefully we'll get a capable replacement in there who can fix the economy and repeal the worst provisions of the PATRIOT act after he's gone.
btw, what's happened to all you small government Republicans? Why aren't you screaming about the erosion of your right to privacy and your right to legal representation and a public trial?
