I am dead set against pretyy much any new drilling...anywhere.. All you have to do is jump into the Gulf of Mexico down at Corpus or surf through oil blobs a couple of times a year in hatteras and you will understand why...
However, the powers that be are not going to be satisfied until we pump every last drop of oil out of the earth... So, get on with it, pump it dry....
Maybe then we can make some serious headway into alternatives....
