I think my views of the world are pretty solid. I have a strong background in foreign policy, and international affairs. At least the University who gave me a diploma thought so.
It is not about ignorance, it is about the Real Politik school of foreign policy which dates back to Thucydides and the History of the Pelopensian War.
The reality is, the world is LUCKY that the United States is a reluctant superpower, we have no interest in Empires, or anything else. Just long term stability, and globalization.

Oh and as far as THE BOMB, I have no doubt that people like Saddam, Bin Laden, or other terrorist thugs would nuke the US in a heartbeat if they had the capacity to do so. That is why WE must fight and destroy them before they have this opportunity.
