Flight attendants are evil, bitchy shrews - we all do enough flying to know that is SO true. However, I'm inclined to believe that she thought it was "tiger" too - that's what I always thought it was and I grew up in a very racist small Ohio town. I wouldn't be surprised to have heard that version on the playground growing up - but never did.
And I agree on frivilous lawsuits - c'mon....give me a break!
