Mike, I use PHP and MySQL a lot (Have I not built some solid PHP/MySQL Web Apps?)....but when it comes to Windows Programming it would be stupid to use any other option than .NET. Tie your Windows app to your Web App and you have a solid solution.

I can also say that every C/PHP programmer is not familiar with .NET.
It's easy to say isn't it?
