Guys you are giving him exactly the attention and the reaction he wants over this.

I think we've got a lonely guy with a very low sense of self esteem attempting to validate himself intellectually and now emotionally, by posting things that he knows will get a reaction. By giving him this expected reaction it encourages him to continue the behaviours that elicited the most attention -- regardless of whether the attention is positive or negative, since he doesn't seem to be able to distinguish between the two, or is so starved for attention he simply doesn't understand there is a distinction.

Now I realize its cold in NYC most likely, but the smartest thing he could do is get out from behind the computer and take a walk around the block, have a good look at things that are physically real and unbind himself from the virtual fantasy world he seems to have created in order to cope.

Then after he warms back up he should go back and read his posts here and realize they are pointless, juvenile and foolish... and that he gains nothing from continuing along this vein.
