I just wonder how it's all going to pan out. After all they say it's going to take a year to really complete the mission. At what point does war break and how will it affect the inspectors that are there?
Good question - we were just talking about this the other day. No matter what the results of the inspection - it's war for sure. Hope those inspectors get out of there in time.

What kind of burns me up is that they are already having anti-war protests and anti-war course studies flooding the US public schools. I'm not a war-monger, nor am I for just diving into a war as often as we seem to do - but I think there's something to be said for the supporting of your troops, support of your country - and not teaching another generation to treat our vets who return home from whatever war as murders and baby killers.

I think kids need to be educated on the realities of the tragedy of war (the neighbor kids were outside yesterday saying they were hoping for a draft so they could go to war and kill some "brown people" - how awful is that?!?) but they also need to understand the necessity for it sometimes as well. It's a tough subject - but if they are going to tackle it in any way, it should be tackled from all angles in a well-rounded fashion. I would have thought we would have learned and grown from our previous mistakes.

:grrr:
