Yeah everyone today wants to blame somebody else - why can't they just blame the kid for what he did to HIMSELF?

I had a friend my freshman year in college who accidentally killed himself. He was at his girlfriend's house, goofing off on his moped trying to do wheelies and stupid shit like that - just horseplay. He fell off the scooter and hit his head on the curb, rupturing a vessel in his brain. A massive anurysm, the pressure and bleeding killed him in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

And nobody blamed anyone or anything for what happened - he did it to himself, albeit indirectly.

Today, we are a nation of pussies. Everything that happens is someone else's fault - something else is to blame. All the more reinforcing my misanthropy. :grrr:
