oops, should clarify, it's not your opinion that scares me...just the potential of passing other measures in the name of national security that are nothing more than thinly veiled attempts to pass more restrictive measures that wouldn't have gotten through otherwise and might circumvent checks and balances (because would would want to be "against national security?")
