More web related porn stats

This is related to viruses and malware and links to the study.

X-rated content aside, are online porn sites safe to visit?

A study conducted by International Secure System Lab--one of the first to examine the security risks of browsing porn websites--suggests that "shady" practices and malware are common on many porn sites, which could potentially make visitors the targets of cybercriminals.

The researchers analyzed some 269,000 free and pay adult websites on 35,000 domains.

There have been so many scams in porn I am shocked when anyone pays for it.

Maybe if the paid sites would stop doing this, it would give people a better reason to stay away from the free sites.

At this point, do you think it would matter?

Let's face it: In the last 10 years, the adult industry has trained the consumer to expect malware/ shady billing practices. What's the first thing anyone says when you get a virus on your computer? It sure as shit isn't "that's what you get for torrenting Iron Man."

Very little if any. The reputation of the industry in regards to billing, malware, etc has been ingrained into people and not without reason.
