Hmmm, perhaps I didn't word it properly?

You can buy it for your site to then use as an update for your site and marketing for your site. You can't buy it and then resell it to other sites. IOW, MatrixContent cannot buy it from me and then resell it to their customers.

I think that clarifies it to some degree.
Unfortunately, we don't sell "content" on our site. We sell content on Discs....currently. To the end user.

Not any reason we couldn't sell it on our "site," and we may just do that in the future.

Now I don't know about this Matrix content company. They seem to have a rather "invasive" form to fill out to see their product. But, on their form, they ask what urls you will be using their content on.
Are you saying they re-sell to webmasters, and you only want to sell to people with sites that will sell? rent? to end users?

You can sell it to any end-user you want to on any medium you want to. You just can't take the scene and resell it to others who in turn will sell it to end-users. You can sell it to end-users on DVD, membership website, floppy disk, whatever. Heck, you can buy it and put it on your tube site and give it away....as long as it's to end users.

I think we're on the same page. I'll take the blame for perhaps not splainin it goodly. :-)

Not sure how a trademark lawyer could do anything with that. But I do know one or two trademark lawyers that are more than a bit "slimy......."

You know, collecting info for another client, while the first client is paying them.......that sort of thing.

I do remember the original floppies. I used to play some game called hamurabi or something like that, back in ....man, the late 70's, early 80's? But of course, it was the 3.5 floppy where I really took off pretending to be a girl on AOL so I could collect pics of other girls and then use those pics to pretend I was a girl to other girls and collect more pics, and so on. :-) What a fucking loser I was. I still have a box full of 5.25" floppies from my old BBS days back in the mid to late 1980's! I really have no idea as to why I even have them all anymore as I don't have a single drive left for them. Just my Content Hoarding mentality I guess ;)
