Vince McMahon to Be Immortalized
Vince McMahon will join an esteemed list of celebrities and entertainers this week, when the WWE Chairman will be immortalized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
WWE would like to extend an invitation to our fans to attend Mr. McMahon's ceremony on Friday in Hollywood, Calif. The Chairman's star will be located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd., next to Hollywood and Highland, near the famed Grauman's Chinese Theatre. The ceremony begins promptly at 11:30 a.m. PT. |

The guy certainly knows how to put on and promote a show.

Re: Vince McMahon to Be Immortalized
Wonder how "Eric" feels about all this lol
Speaking of "Eric" is that account still active on here?? -Loki- |
Re: Vince McMahon to Be Immortalized
Don't get em started on Bischoff!! The guy ruined WCW. Ran it into the ground by litening to selfish assholes. The biz would be SOOOO much better today if WWE still had some real competition.

Re: Vince McMahon to Be Immortalized
Not to get off on a tear here or to push any buttons but....
Bischoff had NOTHING to do with the actual downfall of WCW, in all honesty Turner FIRST sold WCW to Time Warner (pretty sure it was those guys) and TW started running the place into the ground, Bischoff was trying to buy it from TW but the funding fell through. When Bischoff WAS in charge of WCW it beat WWF/WWE every week in ratings, the moment it went corp. with TW it started to slip, and then pretty much sucked ass. Under Bischoff's reign we saw the NWO, Raven's Flock, the return of the Horsemen, and more, there is a big interview with Eric on youtube that explains what all went wrong and how he's pretty much been given the blame for the wrong reasons. personally, (and it's just my 2 cents) Bischoff is far better then Vince any day, all I saw was Vince coping the same storylines from WCW the next week lol, granted Vince DID change wrestling on TV, but the actual SHOWMAN was Eric and Paul Heymen<sic> -Loki- |

The Horseman. What did they do with the Horsemen. Bishcoff tried to BURY the Horsemen. Every time they went to Flair country they would bury the Horsemen. perfect example. War Games in Flair country Horsemen vs NWO. Horsemen seeking revenge for craop the NWO has pulled so what happen in the heart of Hosrsemen country? They get buried yet again and have one of their own turn on them. Par for the coure in the Bihoff protect your friends playbook no matter whether it's smart busine or not. i HIGHLY uggest you check out The Death of WCW and you'll see what i am talking about. Great book. |

In terms of the NWO, if I'm not mistaken didn't that play out during the before and after TW buyout? if so It would make perfect sense as to why it got old and stale with no actual payoff. I remember allot of NWO storylines, the black n white, then the red n black then if I remember didn't the two factions then fight eachother? (it's been damn near 10 years lol) As for the Horsemen, they were first reformed to "Stop" the NWO right? it didn't work all that well but it did make for good stories But I'll deff give that book a look! -Loki- |
Re: Vince McMahon to Be Immortalized
I read the book in an afternoon. It's a little over three humdred pages and it's a fast read. Couldn't put it down once I started. I know you would enjoy it immensely as a fan.
