Are you tired of those drive by ICQ requests for add from people you dont know? Well now I know where they are coming from....
Panther CDN is one of those companies that is spidering YOUR ICQ number from adultwhoswho for drive by ICQ spam. Heres my conversation with Wally after he tried to add me December 20th and I politely blew him off... ********************************************* Wally (02:26:20 22/12/2007) Authorization Request Gonzo - just wanted to pick up our last conversation about InterNext and bandwidth for the sites. Also avoid companies like Panther CDN who use ICQ spam for marketing. Its certainly not a host Id trust anything with if thats the best they can do. |

I've had a few of those... not sure if it was from AWW tho.
I usually tell the guy to take a hike much quicker than you did Gonzo LOL. BTW... Are there other people here who get add requests from total strangers and then in turn deny them? I just can't add someone as a friend whom I've never even MET muchless HEARD of. |

There are also a similar group of assholes out there using ICQ to broker deals on domains they don't own, nice low prices, just "need to move the domain for some cash", always pay by epassporte, and then they disappear like the breeze.

I only respond to "HIT ME UP!!" and keeping in constant contact with my "bros" that need me to bump their homophobic pic posts.....and the occasional russian chat babe that always asks me to visit her in chat.

Whenever I hit someone up on ICQ for the first time, I always leave a note about who I am and what I want to discuss. And unless someone does the same with me, I just ignore their attempts. Keeps my list clean.

What makes you think it was harvested from AdultWhosWho GonZo? I feel left out. (Not). About a year ago I used to get a ton of icq spam, like every day. Suddenly one day it just stopped. Lucky I guess. |

I spoke to Derick a little bit today.
This isnt a slam on AdultWhosWho... and he said he was going to change the ICQ # to an image. It will still get harvested by companies that are weak like where Wally works but at least it will make it tougher. Class act Derick. ANd if you have celeb traffic MrSkincash is this the place for it! |
