Gonzo - How To Make a YouTube BB Code

You can use the embed code on YouTube's site to make a BB code so users can display YouTube movies inside of their posts:

Admin CP -> Custom BB Codes -> Add New BB Code

Title - YouTube
Tag - youtube
Replacement:

Code:

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{param}"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/{param}" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Example -

Description - Use the movie code from the YouTube URL in your browser. For example, http://youtube.com/watch?v=JFwCCL0Vh6U

DO IT MAN!!!!!!

want me to change the code out for pornotube?

if you do pornotube, please do youtube as well, cause as much as I love pornotube, I would much rather be able to embed youtube videos on here..LOL

Re: Gonzo - How To Make a YouTube BB Code

Admin CP -> Custom BB Codes -> Add New BB Code

Title - PornoTube
Tag - pornotube
Replacement:

Code:

<embed src="http://pornotube.com/player/v.swf?v={param}" loop="false" quality="high" width="480" height="400" name="pornoPlayer" allowScriptAccess="always" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" />

so, when someone wants to embed, they take that jumbled mess of characters and do this:

that SHOULD work....

Re: Gonzo - How To Make a YouTube BB Code

and if the one above doesn't work when you put it into the Replacement space in the admin

try this

Code:

<object width="480" height="400"><param name="movie" value="http://pornotube.com/player/v.swf?v={param}"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://pornotube.com/player/v.swf?v={param}" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="480" height="400"></embed></object>

the first one should work though
