BuckCherry Sued for Recrutiing for Porn
 

According to the complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the mother, whose name was not disclosed, alleged that the band recruited underage girls with a casting call placed on social networking site MySpace.com. The ad promised free alcohol, to be served at The Key Club in West Hollywood, Calif., the mother said.

The suit also names The Key Club as a defendant, alleging that the nightspot failed to check the girl’s ID, allowing the band to ply the minor with “shot after shot of Jagermeister.”

“The pornography that is captured on the three videos is only the tip of the iceberg of what occurred during the production,” the mother said.

The complaint also alleges that various other minors, who are not part of the suit, where served alcohol by the band and induced into performing sex acts on film, which later appeared on the Internet.

According to the complaint, the video, which the band and the labels sold to promote the song “Crazy Bitch,” depicts the minor plaintiff and another young woman having sex in the club’s bathroom.

it is amazing that it is 2006 and there are grown people stupid enough to engage in this kind of activity... I mean honestly I have never heard of this band but one would assume they would have employed a manager at some point. Someone who could say "listen guys... what you're doing... it's fucking stupid and illegal... STOP IT NOW!"

Ahemmmm.. i dont personally know anyone who would ever supply someone under the age of 21 alcohol say at the end of a long freaking shoot in florida and lights had been burning everyones eyes and there was no wind on the balcony and everyone was thristy!! ahemm ahemm LOL

I was refering more to feeding it to a 16 year old and then having or filming that girl engaged in sexual activity for any reason but the worse of it being for profit... that kind of action is just stunningly stupid

Who is suing the mother for allowing her 16 year young daughter to get drunk and be in a rock video?
to even be allowed to be exposed to that function?

Where is personally responsibility?

Would they sue if they didn't think Buckcherry was making $ now
Would they if it was just some local nobody band with no money?

The mother (and or parents) are more at fault than the band, record label, the nightclub or promoters

You know, if any adult video producer did this right now, they'd be in jail, not a civil court.
