I'm needing info for server side video converters.
 
I've got problems with users uploading normal avi and mpg media files and them displaying in ie7 and firefox. Soo I'm looking for a converter to run on the server to convert them to flash video... anyone know of an ap that can do this?


I've looked into FFmpeg, I think it may be the way to go but what a learning curve it looks to be...

it wasn't a standalone piece of software, it was a youtube clone script
