Not me - first time since they started having them. Being mostly out of the biz I'm picking the shows where there's more to do than just network. Vegas=good. Sweaty FL in August=bad ;)

Peaches in a thong I would pay money to see that :) I would love to see everyone at the shows but when I look at the cost of the both of us going. That money can be better spent for models, equiptment updates, classes. Cant justify it in my mind especially not having a program or doing business with lots of programs.

I agree man, with the amount of other shows that are so nicely planned out, it is almost a shame that AVN can't get their ass in gear and compete...word has that quite a few big sponsors have backed out this year after spending tons of money previous years

When all is said and done it would cost us upwards of $2000 just to attend, sleep, eat, drink and shit.....and that is just insane in my book. AVN sure is raking in the cash though

Doesnt matter if you like how Joe promotes himself or not it seems to work for him.

There is one thing for certain. Ive known him for 3 years...I've worked for him, been his partner [briefly] but most importantly he has been a friend.

That being said the one constant has been that he is a man of his word. If he says he is going to do something then thats exactly what he does.

A man that keeps his word is quite a rariety in our industry.

I got bored reading that thread. But here is what I find truly interesting. The amounts involved are pathetic. We got Serge Birbrair, self proclaimed millionaire pissing and moaning over 50 K....less actually. He is truly concerned over 20 per cent of 1200 bucks a month. I laughed. I cried. Coupled with Trev and his "salary" and Nick and his pathetic business, this shit is hilarious. Old freeking school. You can have it. I always knew these guys were full of crap. Now the truth is coming out. Time to move on kids.
Edit: MHO is that if these guys just move on and never post on Oprano again, the board will be way better off. Better to have quality traffic than junk traffic. Crap is crap and makes no money for anyone.

I didn't know you were in Nashville man...I lived there for almost 6 years a whle back...I was one of the head DJ's at the Music City Mix Factory for almost 3 years...I was also the head Pastry Chef at Sunset Grille for 3 years, but worked there for 4 years

I have huge roots in Nashville...tons of friends still there that we visit all the time

Used to have a lot of information on new programs etc.

Now its nothing more than a breeding ground for sigwhores to get a job as a program rep.

There is one other good use for it but anyone that owns a program knows that hidden nugget.

Well I guess I should be thankful that I do not now, nor am I likely to ever, own a program! LOL I'd likely be driven to violence if I had to spend any significant amount of time among those kids. With teenagers living in the house I have more than enough drama and immaturity to deal with in REAL life! Hah!
