Check The Oprano Radio Playlist And Request Songs

Wanna know what I have coming up on Oprano Radio?
http://www.djjace.net/oprano/playlist.html

To listen click here:
http://www.djjace.net:8000/listen.pls

this is a 96kbps shoutcast stream, almost cd quality

You can use ITunes or Winamp directly by opening the stream url in it:
http://www.djjace.net:8000/listen.pls

You can also use Windows Media Player by installing this handy little app:
http://jongalloway.url123.com/OpenPlsInWMP

Once you install that app, you can click on, or download, the listen.pls link and it should pop open in WMP

You can request songs one of two ways, hit me up on AIM or ICQ
AOL: Oprano Radio
ICQ: 306632217

or ftp your favorites up to my server,
ftp.djjace.net
login: requests@djjace.net (that is not an email address, just a login)
password: upload

Re: Your Oprano Radio Playlist

Just so ya know itn was me Jace who edited the title and stuck the thread. Thought it would be worthy of a pin for sure. :)

Re: Check The Oprano Radio Playlist And Request Songs

nice job.

and a nice mix.

though it could use a bit more metallica, rob zombie, and assorted one hit wonders from the 80's... :whistling

Re: Your Oprano Radio Playlist

Treat me like I'm really, really dumb on this (there's a reason for that treatment....) where/how do I "open the stream url" with Itunes?

Re: Your Oprano Radio Playlist

ok, when you are in ITunes, go to the ADVANCED menu

and click on OPEN STREAM

paste this url in there

http://www.djjace.net:8000/listen.pls

and click OK

it should start playing

Re: Your Oprano Radio Playlist

Oh shit, and it will wake the dogs up, lol! :)

Many thanks - I will tell my, ahem, "dumb friend" how to use it ;)
