Right on time, another 2257 extension
http://www.freespeechcoalition.com/
Denver, Co. – A motion was filed in the U.S. District Court of Colorado this afternoon that extends for one month the original stipulated agreement between the parties for a temporary restraining order (TRO) in Free Speech Coalition et al v. Alberto Gonzales. The extension will terminate November 30, 2005, or until the Court rules on Plaintiffs’ motion for preliminary injunction, whichever occurs first. During that time period, theJustice Department is restrained from inspecting or enforcing U.S.C. 18 § 2257 against plaintiffs in the case, which includes all members of the Free Speech Coalition |
Re: Right on time, another 2257 extension
Can't this judge make a decision? Or doesn't he know how long it's going to take him?
Either way, he seems to make deadlines as badly as programmers do. I done in 30 days. Wait, another 30 days. Let's extend that for, hmm, 30 more days. Sheeesh! |

Re: Right on time, another 2257 extension
People felt they'd be trying to inspect/prosecute non-members of the FSC but so far, I haven't heard anything -- has anyone else?

Re: Right on time, another 2257 extension
Why am I starting to think there's election time influence here?
Naw. Would never happen. Not in Republican-controlled America. |
