Re: World Championship of Online Poker

A little bit LOL

But also it would be cool to have a load of Opranauts playing :)

I think Miss Eve will get in :)

I have been burned by people btw saying vbasically "Nick you rich bastard just buy in" and when they see me playing $1 poker. LOL

But no fucking way!!!!!

1.) I enjoy qualifying its good fun and good practice.
2.) Its a hobby
3.) Yeah...I really want to start losing a few hundred a day.Fuck that!!! LOL

I am a pretty good tournament poker player. If you make a dumb mistake you can lose your stake. Ah well...

I can handle losing $10 - $20 for 3 hours of fun.

But I'd be miserable as sin if I lost like $500 in a day.

My brother suspects somewhere in the family there is a Jewish gene. ;-)))

Re: World Championship of Online Poker

< OK, nobody listen to this, it's going to totally destroy your belief in "Nick the brutal" >

Nick, it's a lot more fun if you actually earn it. "I got in because I'm rich" isn't something to brag about. "I got in because I'm damned good!" is something to brag about.

The one thing they always say about gambling is "never bet more than you can afford to lose." That doesn't mean just financially, either. It means psychologically. Sure, you can afford to drop $500 financially. But a few of those losses and a little voice is going to start to mutter "you wanker, what could you have given your kids with that money you're blowing?"

Re: World Championship of Online Poker

Re: World Championship of Online Poker

There is always hope.

On both scores. :=))

Re: World Championship of Online Poker

Where would we be without hope? :)

(You're worked very hard to try and turn me into a "money grubbing bitch" instead of the "let's all sit cross legged on the floor and have deep conversations about ethics" dim wit I used to be...guess what? It fucking worked! :D )

Nick will triumph at poker and smite all opponents mightily! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
