A good friend of mine and I are opening a new generation link list. Actually it will look lika a plain old link list to you guys but the adming eliminates cheaters. So, no cheaters, more traffic for you.

Anyway, we are days away from opening but are accepting email address for prefered submitters.

This is going to sound stupid probably so bare with me...

Rather than inventing the 'next generation' of Link List, why not just ban the cheaters on the existing ones?

That would seem like a much better approach to the problem to me $0.02

I mean, its not like the LL owners dont have the ips / domains / emails of these cheaters anyay, they have already submitted that info to you.

As i say, probably so simple its stupid but, there ya have it ;)

There are new cheaters everyday. And, just because someone breaks a rule on one link list doesn't mean they are breaking it on ours. One size does not fit all.
