I went in two days ago and recreated the username sarettah on thebutchers board.

Got one post in (actually a nice one) and then he pulled the account and the post. No prob.

Went in today and again recreated my username (this time with an '_' at the end because he had not deleted the old account, just made it unusable)

He is now posrting under that account on his board even though he has not activated it for me.

Now, the man does not know:

1. what he is doing. He made a post that anyone who knows me will know is not me.

2. who he is fucking with. I never bother wasting time getting even, I always get way the fuck ahead.

You want a war asshole, you got one. I have to go to a graduation in just a little bit, so I don't have time for you right this second. But if that thread that you have made to look like I posted it is still there when I get back (I don't know 8 or 9 tonight CST) then it is on fuckwad.

Well, I just got back from the graduation and it looks like the thread is still there, so, guess I got to become an asshole.

I had about a 6 pack of beer after the graduation (Minskys Pizza and Beer... good stuff) So, it will probably be tomorrow before I rectify this whole mess.

But I will say that is pretty chickenshit to post about someone when you haave them blocked out.

First of all, you don't have a TOS anywhere on your site. The closest thing you have is an FAQ and your registration agreement. Neither of which say you can't rejoin if you are banned. What they do say (in surprisingly close language to GFY) is that you can't create multiple usernames.

So, I ask you, if you wipe a username (as you have done to all of mine) then my creating a new name does not violate the agreement. If I cannot access the name. If your script tells me it does not exist (which is what your script tells me) then I am only creating one username, not multiples.

A few years ago, I had a beef with the folks at our local HyVee. The beef was actually over their handling of TicketMaster. They requested I leave their store. I did. For 3 years afterward, each week, after doing my grocery shopping, I carefully placed all the receipts in an envelope with a little note saying "This is how much business you lost this week" and mailed it to the manager of HyVee.

I finally got a phone call one day, with a manager apologizing profusely for the original incident and asking me to please quit sending the receipts because he felt that I was driving him bonkers.

As I stated earlier, I created an account last night so that I could go look at the thread you created. I confirmed the account but kind of figured that you would get up this morning, see it was me and just inactivate it. But no, you activated it. It was off my home ip, it was using an addy from a domain I have used before and you still went and approved it manually this morning. It would be one thing if you had a script doing the activations, but you don't. You are manually activating them from your home pc and sending the activation from outlook. When you do shit like that, you only have yourself to blame. You can't blame it on the script, you can't accuse me of hacking because joining a board using their script and being manually approved by the owner is in no way a hack. You oonly have yourself to blame, period, just like the rest of the mess you have gotten yourself into.

I understand exactly how frustrating it is. I got banned from that board too when I pointed out that vBulletin was being manipulated there. I believe what Sarettah has said, because I know that TheButcher is more than capable of not telling the truth.

And despite the warnings posted on multiple boards, people still post there and people still help the guy. There are members of Oprano who have done business with TheButcher, did those members read the warnings? Maybe they missed the warnings?

But months down the line, I realise that the best way to hurt someone like this is to totally ignore them.

That guy thebutcher is a total wacko and should be ignore. He still hasnt paid the poster of his board since November 2004 and the way out of it is to banned the person as soon as they complain :rokk: Go to hell thebutcher, thats the rightful place for you!

Ignoring him is an option. But at the same time, there are bunches of newbies being sucked into his shit. I had no problem once he closed his doors to the general public (he had it set so you had to be a member to even view the board for a few days, that was where I had hoped he would keep it)

But, if requested, I will ignore him for the time being. His posting as me and telling folks there that that was actually me posting went kind of over the line, didn't really piss me off, I don't waste that kind of emotion on his ass.
