We got a new Sky Plus Box a few months ago and I can record without tape, pause live tv, rewind, fast forward.

It's still limited as to how much it stores, so I have everything taped on VHS. I'm up to (TE are you listening lol) 6 weeks of tv taped waiting to be watched :(

The best thing to happen is Pauline and Sonia had a head to head over Chloe!

VooMan 05-07-2005 10:55 PM

My Tivo records the following:

24 - this season rocks!
CSI Miami - News flash... Sofia Milos is STILL a hottie.
The Shield - I can't wait for Vick to find out about Aceveda. hahaha
CSI
Without a Trace
Third Watch - the final episode was last night. Gonna miss that show. :(
Desperate Housewives - never thought I'd get hooked, but it's funny.

Wood Works - DIY Channel. Makes any home improvement "guru" on television look like a total hack. David J. Marks is a MASTER craftsman. :wnw:

Vick 05-08-2005 12:02 AM

Rescue Me

The NFL

Neither are on currently but will be in the upcoming months

NickPapageorgio 05-08-2005 12:08 AM

I really only enjoy House MD and the Daily Show anymore. House is really good too. I like the sort of "edginess" it has.

Wiggles 05-08-2005 12:33 AM

i've only seen first season of The Shield but i liekd it so much i bought it, doesn't air anymore around here, will have to buy season 2 and 3.

PornoDoggy 05-08-2005 12:36 AM

Deadwood
The Shield
Dead Like Me
Desperate Housewives
Carnivale
Huff
The Wire

Used to watch Third Watch ... haven't paid much attention for the last couple years. Enjoy the A&E reruns, though.

Favorite comdey - Fox News.

I too must confess that I will occasinally watch Gilmore Girls reruns with my girlfriend.

Junk food - CSI (Vegas) on Spike.

Newton 05-08-2005 02:07 AM

none until sopranos season 6 comes on :(

It's everything. Fantasy, action, top-of-the-line special effects, lots of things (and people/demons) blow up, plus yes, good arcs, drama, comedy, and yeah, some hot babes with brains never hurt!

Hey, very attractive independent woman who is witty and quirky, and into everything from Hamlet to The Thin Man. What's not to like? Probably the snappiest dialog on any televison show since Moonlighting.

Just got into Smallville this season. Dunno why, but I like it.

I know I'm missing out not seeing The Shield and Desperate Housewives and a few others, but my tv card is filled at the moment. I'll no doubt become a big fan a few years from now when everything's in reruns.

grimm 05-08-2005 04:04 AM

The Shield
Deadwood
House
Law and Order, CI..Trial by Jury is pretty decent too.
Arrested Development.
CSI

Im still watching the show Revelations, but its not very good.

tivo, baby. dont need time:)

Hell Puppy 05-08-2005 05:01 AM

Of the stuff currently running, The Shield and Deadwood are the only two must-see for me.

I'm so glad to see no one here listed American Idol. That shit rots your brain.

pushpills 05-08-2005 05:03 AM

on regular tv i guess i'd have to say family guy and law and order svu.

on hbo I like six feet under and entourage alot.

I mostly just watch baseball and basketball on regular tv.

BillPMB 05-08-2005 09:14 AM

Television is a waste of time. I liked it when I was a kid, but now I could live without it.

I like movies though.

Zebra 05-08-2005 10:09 AM

I watch one show every week: Lost

everything else can wait for DVD...

Nope. Ain't got the time for Tivo, DVD nor VCR.

... Even if fast forwarding past the commericals gets you about 10 minutes back per hour.

Newton 05-09-2005 04:59 AM

hmm what about if you could have your movies on your mobile phones/pdas :)

pushpills 05-09-2005 05:28 AM

I don't even get tivo because I use cell phones for business and pleasure and you have to connect to tivo with a phone line.

oh well, comcast has something similar but I haven't ordered it yet. I just don't like most tv and comcast is doing well with the new on-demand. within 10 years on-demand will be completely dominant. I'm surprised it has taken so long.

sarah_webinc 05-09-2005 06:41 AM

The only shows I 'sit down' to watch (ie move away from the computer for) are Dead Like Me, West Wing and Six Feet Under. The only one playing on UK tv at the moment is dead like me.
