Nah Nick.

I do beleive he is as honest and fair as a politician who got to the level of President can be. However, I do not agree with many of his domestic issues, and how he has handled certain things.

I know its easier for you to discount my opinions by saying I am a zombie to Bush or Rep party - but that is very far from reality.

Plus everyone knows Bush is not a giver, but a taker - Tony Blair is perfect example! Ask the Brits! :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

( I actually like Blair as well, even though he is more Clinton then Bush)

i thought it was well established he didn't really get any vote. It was all stolen but replican GOP vote scam tactics, and black box voting fraud.

see the exit polls? how do you explain a 20 to 30 point shift from exit. People lied to exit polls, or just forgot how they voted a few seconds earlier?

Inabon 04-27-2005 01:59 PM

the flaw its the electoral votes system. go with straight up counting whoever gets the most votes wins and thats it.

Mike AI 04-27-2005 03:38 PM

Joe you could be right - Bush will either go as one of the best President's in the history or worst.

I think history will judge him well - especially if the changes in the middle east continue to move forward. He will be compared to Reagan in many ways.

The same people who praised Reagan at his funeral were the ones who used to slam him while he was in office.

Reagan had bigger protests in Europe, people calling him dumb, just a washd up actor who was good in front of a camera, etc... and now Reagan should be on Rushmore.

Honestly Nick, I would not care if Bush was blowing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir ( not that there is anything wron with that) if he would start bombing Iran/Syria and switch the US to a flat/consumption tax.

Wow, can't do that. Think of all the accountants and (especially) attorneys that would put out of business. Mike, I'm ashamed that you'd turn your back on your professional brethren that way...

Trial attornies are the 2nd biggest threat to this country, right after terrorists. ( if it were not for the WMD - attorneys would be #1)

Anyway, I was talking about TAX attorneys. Same profession, different rathole.

Oh, hey, don't get me wrong, I love my tax accountant and tax attorney as well.

Though I would shed no tears if their work was all of a sudden, shall we say, rendered moot.

I'd probably buy them a consolation lunch or something.
