Is it a swear word or a word you would you use to describe a woman who's rather dirty?

Slag: the waste left after the melting of ores and the separation of metal from them.

What is an ore? Anybody know?

Slag is the bi-product left after minerals are extracted from raw ore.

In my hometown most of the driveways and roads are made with base of "slag" and from my living room window everynite at 11:30 i can see the sky turn fire orange as they dump 25 to 35 tons of molten slag out of the pots, all fresh from the smelter.

This is later broken up and used as fill or for building roads, driveways and other jobs where gravel or rock is needed.

"slag off" in a tv show used as to fuck off or go away.

never heard it to describe a slut, but it has a nice ring to it. rap music should pick up on this, so many new words it can be rhymed with that ho and skank cannot!.
