Won't they just post meaningless garbage and not know what the hell they are talking about, and make riddiculous threads that would deter the mainstream population?

Winetalk.com 01-31-2005 06:40 AM

Steve,
1) do GFYers send me the nasty e-mails?
nope, wine-idiots from other wine boards do

2) I don't care where I go, I ALWAYS find a few gems, ANYWHERE.
Generalizations are not good for:
A - one's horizons

B - business.

...and now you owe me $15 for the valuable lesson which you can carry for the rest of your life.

yea I guess that makes sense, alot of the idiots might not even get a kick out of making stupid threads on a wine board when they already have a board for that.

consider the 15 interest on the 5 you owe me from bush winning.

btw, isn't smoking the worst thing you could do for your tastebuds, being the wine enthusiast you are? I smoke somewhat but I don't buy that expensive of wines often, and when I do drink good champagne, i dont smoke that day.

Winetalk.com 01-31-2005 07:14 AM

yes and no...
the WORST what you can do to your taste buds is to have oily fish with red rich in tanins
;)

Serge, Even the GFY'ers who have TRIED to start talking smack with me who have had 10,000 + posts don't know how to react when I come back at them. They truly have no skill when it comes to board bashing compared to anyone who can compete at a level NEAR yours :)

It was rather entertaining watching as they one by one came to back up there buddies and I shut the hell up out of about 20 different people all with way over 7500 posts to their name in one day LOL

Nothing can take you down after you have completed the Serge's school of board bashing techniques. When will these youngsters learn :))

NickPapageorgio 01-31-2005 10:43 AM

I just think it was funny watching Brad squirm knowing that Serge is posting there. I have never seen anyone have that effect on him. You must have hit a nerve somewhere down the line Serge. Hell he even started a thread to get winetalk banned....on the first day. :biglaugh:

Most others he doesn't really pay any attention to...

...he seems to pay lots of attention to Serge.

Did you steal his lunch money sometime in the past?

nope....I always been "father figure" for him, and you know how it goes. With him it's something between the Dr Freud and Greek Tragedy. He wants to be "just like serge" but fails miserably, due to lack of education, culture, and general development, the items no money can buy. Having his own father he plays catch up since he was a little boy,
doesn't help his mental stability either.

I have no problems with him, ( or anybody for this matter), I live anger to fools and stick to:

Winetalk.com 02-06-2005 08:59 AM

well.....
I have the answer to your question:
I do want them.

The ones we got from GFY and who post,
mostly make interesting threads/content and no disruptions you were implied whatsoever.

Personality changes when people join WT.

I think WT is the only board where you can see REAL Juicy as a person.

well that's good to hear.

I gotta stop in and see if I can score some info on moderately priced reds. I'm going to be having alot of dates with myself soon. :(

Winetalk.com 02-06-2005 10:27 AM

Steve, and I mean no offense,
I think you are a little to young to appreciate the information,
wine is NOT your drink of choice and your ears are less developped than your mouth...

but...like it or not, but eventually you'll grow, give it a few years,
it's not the matter of "IF"..
