I learned that I HAVE to smoke....
with the amounts of red wine and fish we consume,
we risk of living 'til we are 150 years old, which is UNACCEPTABLE!
;-))))

KevinG 12-14-2004 08:44 AM

I learned that I shouldn't stick really big things up my ass.

I learned Timon, was a whole ass! LOL :biglaugh:

Dravyk 12-14-2004 09:26 AM

I learned there are a geometrically greater number of assholes, thieves and dumb-fucks in this industry than I first thought. And mind you, I started out with a high number in mind.

What I learned this year ....
... how much animosity you can have for your ex-wife

Almighty Colin 12-14-2004 02:22 PM

I've learned to live a more balanced life and to value my health more.

I've also fallen in love with the greek classics this year (Thucydides, Herodotus, Plato, etc). More to come.

What's her number?

SykkBoy 12-14-2004 02:25 PM

I learned that once you get personal demons and issues under control, you can actually get things done in a timely manner and not piss everyone off....

I learned (well, learned more) that the best movies aren't coming out of Hollywood, but Great Britain, Japan, China and Korea...

gradual learning process ;-)
I just keep becoming more and more convinced...

sarettah 12-14-2004 02:43 PM

I learned that all my preconceptions were 100% accurate.

Anthony 12-14-2004 02:51 PM

I learned that...

The road to excess, leads to the palace of wisdom.

:)

I can't believe I"m opening up Rothman IRA funds.

Peaches 12-14-2004 02:56 PM

I learned all my misconceptions were 100% right. Or wrong. Depending on how you look at it B)

Nickatilynx 12-14-2004 03:14 PM

I learned :

Dunken Nick = total moron and a pain in the ass to know.
Sober Nick = total genius and loved by all :)

Lee 12-14-2004 03:24 PM

I learned that despite how much money you throw at a project sometimes its just a bad idea. For example, men.com

I also learnt that despite the need to work, you really dont have to if you get the planning stages right ;)

Not really.... not by me anyway ;-)

Eddie 12-15-2004 08:13 PM

I learned that it's a bad idea to get naked on stage with a room full of people who found out it was your fricken birthday... Remember that night Gonzo LOL. As a sub lesson to that I learned I should stay on the back end of the camera!

Wait... after thinking about this post I realized that I should clarify that NO, GONZO was NOT up on stage with me NAKED just in attendance to witness the blinding outcome. LOL

SykkBoy 12-15-2004 09:10 PM

I also learned a former drugtaking alcoholic moron with a sketchy military record can be re-elected President.....

nlphoto 12-15-2004 10:33 PM

I learned that I am an idiot...

Well, not really learned... just reminded. Funny how I am reminded every year...

Newton 12-15-2004 10:36 PM

1. There is such a thing as doing mutually beneficial business, I thought it was a urban legend but glad to say, it exists.

2. Don't buy domain names (apart from the mobile ones), when there is NO fucking time to do anything with them.

3. Always double bag, one too many narrow squeaks

4. Don't eat the B.A chicken

Biggy 12-16-2004 02:10 AM

time goes quickly, live life to the fullest...

i like to remind myself as often as possible.
