I know there's not many tgp webmasters around here but i only need a few to get some opinions :awinky:

We've been trying to figure out how we can offer tgp teaser galleries without giving away too much of our product, but while still having as many celebs covered as possible. We've also been looking for a way to really sell to surfers and give them a true indiciation of what is in our members area (everything celeb, its fucking cool - xippy has outdone himself on the presentation and programming and honeyblond's team have done a great job of heaps of cool content features).

So we've got a couple of things we are testing out based on our new cms/dynamic modular members area ...

1) Hosted TGP galleries presented in the format of a paysite tour ... eg: page 1 with 15 - 20 thumbs, page 2 with 15 - 20 thumbs, join page - all with scrolling text updates of latest features added to members area.

we've got 6 more similar themes almost complete, only 1 gallery for each which consists of 2 pages each with 15 - 25 pics per page. so its kinda a multi page tgp gallery with a join page attached LOL

2) Auto Updating Text Feed
the galleries have examples of our new updating scrolling ad feed which can be customized & set to suit any page ... this is good for link lists with bookmark traffic so they see something different every day.

most of the themes to start with are aimed at the stuff the FFN's are doing :okthumb:

Do what converts best for you ....

Four pages of ads is double as much ads for the surfers to see. Twice as many pages to convince them that your paysite is all that and more or at least spending money on.

LL owners, who are lazy like me, would love them in an easy to import format like a pipe delimited format {Title}|{Description}|{URL} or something like that.

Warning page with just one clear enter link that leads to a main page that has links to the galleries.

i dont think 1 page does *anything* to draw a surfer to the next step


that's easy, once we have a batch we'll output their details exactly like that. we are all for lazy ;-)))) do it properly once and you shouldn't have to do much the 2nd, 3rd & 10th time!

The most adult pic on these galleries will be bikini's ... do we still need warning pages when the site is less offensive than an fhm mag? not just on these but generally?

You are right about those Outback Cash Free Hosted Sites, they've worked twice as well as most others I've tried..

I liked them so much we have 10 coming for Celebrity Bling paysites in the next week or so, built by the same people.


I'm not sure how I missed your HSFs for Angels?!.. I'll have them up tonight anyway.

Not now... around 1st November... and hopefully the interface to access them will be perfect for LL owners, I've cut n paste chunks from a few of your recent posts about the place on this subject. So I am fairly certain this lot will have everything you want :)

Let me know when they have HFS and I'll sign up. It is not a niche that I normally promote but I'll add just about anything if they have easy to use decent HFS.

i'm going to put the big pics on html pages for these first 2 sample galleries today sometime ...

rather than banners, i'll use the news tickers on the page where ads would normally go, and trying to fill up with text such a profile/bio text etc? there won't be any *ads* as such because this is a paysite tour as much as it is a freesite. there's only 1 sponsor i'm trying to sell ... the join form at the end of the tour!

what is most likely going to happen is whoever promotes them first is going to get their linking code spidered by se's & everyone else will have to compete with that placement ....

i've noticed a couple of webmasters joined up over the past few months, have done hardly any promoting, but just enough to get their linking codes spidered :groucho: smart!

As far as who is first I do think that is all that important. More important is how well a list gets spidered by Google and others.

If you are a horny surfer looking to fuck the mom next door you may do a search for MILF Fucking. I do think having good sites listed with lots of tasty spider snacks helps our lists get good SERPs.

It is pretty rare that free sites show up in SERPs.

they are a js feed, so does it not count as text on page?

You're kidding me right? Oi someone did something very wrong then :)

I like them, CJ, and I think tgp owners will too... I might even go so far as to say you could even skimp a bit more on the content in them and still have a good response to them. Be careful about being busy with TOO many links though, surfers tend to get a little bit gunshy about galleries that have a lot of links on them :)

i wondered if i was going a bit overboard on pics - some have up to 50 thumbs so i might halve them all into smaller sub niches & just do about 12 thumbs per page

Yeah 10 to 16 pics per gallery is usually good and also what LadyMischief said about giving too many choices.

In the past, they would not be.. now I'm not so sure. It has been considered an advantage of using jscript inserts that most SE spiders have not tried to interpret them in the past btw, so it aint necesarilly a bad thing.

I usually open a shell and use the lynx browser to get an idea of what the spiders see.
