can you think of an administration without 9/11?

Every good and bad word said about the current administration can be linked to that fateful day. One wonders how the last 4 years would have gone if the other issues had taken prescience, and there was no fortifying moment with so many subconsequences.

It is tantamount to WWII, more than just pearl harbor, but the entire thing compressed into an infinitely dense singularity of cause and effect, both at home and on the world stage. think of the duality. The results of WWII vs the results of 9/11. the similarities both positive, negative...verse and inverse... scary

Anyway what got me thinking about this is a book i am reading. "The Plot Against America". and it is nothing like what you are thinking it is.

It is a road less traveled premise, with the hardliner right making a truce with hitler, and using american hero, Charles Lindburgh as president, and execute a plan of separatist ethic segregation. Philip Roth, the author, has written 26 novels and won multiple pullitzers. Fascinating read

What makes it so interesting is that there is a documented Alliance between the nazi party and henry ford and charles lindbergh, so although it is a great work of fiction, it is scary how much it treads on the line of reality without going over it.

Wasn't old man Kennedy a Nazi sypathizer as well?

Hell part of the British Royal Family was trying to get the English to give up against Hilter.

Amazing times back then.....

Much of history occurred without the press in the room, and without the "unblinking eye" of the camera nearby.

You can't lean any way now, the media will catch you off the little line in the middle and slap you upside the head with it.
