23 - 18 in the Tri-Nations Rugby Union.
Game just finished. Kiwis couldn't score a try. Any game of football is a good game when New Zealand lose. |
Oy! Oy! Oy!
:D |
Good game thou ... loved the biff at the beginning off the sideline ...
Did i see correctly, or did wendell only play for the last 8 minutes? |
Quote:
I didn't see him. Note to non Australians and non-rugby fans. Wendell Sailor is an ex-rugby league player who switched to Rugby Union. Wendell is OVERRATED, Wendell is OVERPAID and Wendell is BLACK. And YES, the above was a joke. :nyanya: |

Good result though. Now the boks are in with a chance to take out the tri nations, especially considering how good their super 12 season was and how well they've been playing in their last 4 or 5 internationals. South Africa have a very real chance of winning their last 2 games. I don't think Australia have much of a chance of beating them at home. New Zealand are the only team that can stop them in my opinion, but i doubt even they can do it in South Africa. |

Lindsay, you forgot to mention 'WENDELL IS A WANKER' which my son Daniel takes great delight in yelling at the top of his lungs every time he hits the field at Ballymore. :D

Calling Wendell Sailor a wanker does discredit to the word "wanker" I have had the unfortunate displeasure of being in the man's company on a number of occasions in years gone by. Fucking Idiotic Cocksmoking Moronic Turdburger, is probably the closest description I can come up with this minute that even gets CLOSE to being apt. And the last time we sat a table together I told the cunt so to his face. He ain't that tough. |
Daniel's only 12...I think he can stick with 'Wendell is a wanker' for now...and work his way up to those other things once he's old enough to sit on the hill. ;)

You cannot start their education in the important things in life too early !!! But.. Wendell's a wanker it is. |

Well at least the Fucking Idiotic Cocksmoking Moronic Turdburger is good for something. :yowsa:  |

Wendell was useless in league as well - but he was really good at the sideways crab walk - when he was supposed to be bloody running!!!! Watching *bits* of that game reminded me why I hate football - but i love scrums :agrin: |

"Oi Spooner, ya FUCKWIT!" Spooner actually looked over a few times, so it was pretty clear that he was hearing the guy's heckling. Later in the game, one of the australians knocked it on, and the guy called out... "Oi spoony, even though you weren't there, that was your fault, ya fuckwit!" The whole hill just cracked up with laughter. Drunken Irish and Australian folks. What a beautiful combination. |
I'm pretty sure nathan (?) spooner went to my school - 2 years ahead of me, in the same grade/team as my ex
He played league then though as we didn't have a very good union team ... He was a hottie - at least he has that over that fuckhead jason akamenis from aerial ping pong, whose company I had the pleasure of in both primary AND highschool!! I wish we had a 10 year reunion this year but nothing seems to be planned - a couple of pro footballers from each code, a handful of pornographers, a prissy popstars finalist and a teacher who was sent to jail for playing the wrong kind of games with kids. Now THAT would be an entertaining reunion :biglaugh: |
I have a 20 yr reunion coming up on Oct 2. Should be a hoot :D
I went to an all girls catholic school...now 20 yrs on, I'm divorced, 3 kids, and working in porn. I can't wait to hand out my biz cards. :D |

Took ages for the tears to stop flowing. The visualisation in my head was sensational! Thanks :biglaugh: Reminds me of 2 similar instances (though not nearly as funny).... #1 Wests vs Valleys, Brisbane Rugby League Semi-Final when I was like 12, up on the hill at Lang Park with my older brother (see Lisa - 12 is old enough for the hill !!!)... some lark disagreed with a refereeing decision and yelled: "Hey Ref, you've only got one eye, and it's brown". #2 Broncos vs Cronulla, NRL again at Lang pak in pre Super League days. Everytime Andrew Ettingshausen (ET) got the ball and was about to be tackled this group of about 10 guys would scream: "Not the face! Not the face!" ED NOTE: ET was an infamously good looking guy who did shit loads of modelling and stuff outside of his football career. |

We get on probably because many people we meet think we are assholes, and neither of us actually give a toss. But I can imagine in School he would have been a right pain in the ass. Come to think of it, so was I. I would organize that reunion yourself if I was you. But wait until the teacher is parolled, hope and pray that one of the kids he fiddled is one of the pro footy players, get the popstar to sing and heckle them and see if you can get a standing ovation in abstentia like ScottPB got at his. |

You'll probably have 2 out of 3 things in common with lots of your other schoolmates. :biglaugh:  |

I like AFL & Jason Akamenis - He is one talented athlete - Love him or Hate him the boy can back his mouth & attitude up :awinky: |

And most people do NOT cope well with people who speak their mind and are prepared to back it up. Like I said, no wonder we get on so well. |
The AllBlacks let the aussies win:)
I have it on good athority that the kiwis wanted to play the aussies in the final of the trinations, giving aust the win on staurday means that the Boks wont get enough points up to get into the finals. :))) Did that sound convincing?:)) lol |
Quote:
You ALMOST had me...... NOT. We are one for one buddy... How about a friendly $50 on the final... given that it should be All Blacks / Wallabies? Lindsay  |
that would be like taking candy from a kid, i dont think i could do it to ya lol:) the wannabies got no hope of beating us in the finals as stated in reasons above:) the kiwis know the aussies are easier to beat than the boks which is why they let them win on saturday:)))
if u really insist i would be willing to have a little wager with you tho:) |

Now why doesn't that surprise me :awinky: |

We'll seal it over our first beer at the show together later in the week. And boy-o-boy, you'd better hope the All Blacks come through for you.. this thread will get a lot of mileage across a lot of boards otherwise. :nyanya:  |

Ha ha ha ha ha. I FLUSHED the fish from the fishtank at Pre-school. Oh, AND the mice. Um, AND one of the teachers purses, which I stole from the staffroom. Seperate incidents. I think I was the original Al Queda operative. He he he he he he. :bdance: :cdance: :bjump:  |
Toyboy, done., hit me at the netpond booths:)
we will have a beer and work on a suitable wager:) |
Meat & Toyboy together with beer and sport?!?!?
thank christ i'm 10 000 miles away :biglaugh: |
Quote:
Ok Meat, let me get this right. You want ME to HIT you at the Netpond Booth.... Shouldn't we at least wait until it is late at night, we are both drunk as skunks and start talking about underarm bowling before someone gets belted? :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh: Let's at least have some foreplay before we get into the fun stuff. We'll start with me saying "hi" at the Netpond Booth and then we can let nature run it's course and things can denigrate rapidly from there.... :agrin: :agrin: Seeya Friday  |
look forward to it Toyboy:)

You get 4 points for a win. So basically, if they can beat both Australia and New Zealand (no sure thing, but i wouldn't put my money against the boks at home) and finish more than 7 points ahead in each game, they will win. If they finish ahead by more than 7 points in at least one of the games, it will come down to points difference between whichever team finished within 7 points in their match. If a team does finish within 7 points though, and South Africa manage to score 4 tries in the match, they'll win. It's going to be very close and very exciting. |
Anyone watch the Boks and the All Blacks? Good stuff. Game was a lot closer than the score would have you believe. Although, it would have been 50 points to South Africa if Montgomery was in the form he was in about a month ago.
40-26. South Africa is going to take out the tri-nations. No doubt about it. |
Can't believe i forgot to bump this thread.
BOKS WIN! :D |
