Damn what a shitty weekend I had! Friday I find out my dog has cancer and it's just a waiting game to see how lonh he will last. He's in good spirits right now and still plenty peppy but it's only a matter of time!! :cryin: Little guy is like my kid and he and my other dog went through my seperation from my wife and they were always there for me to cheer me up!

Now today i fell down awkwardly on my elbow and broke a bone in my elbow. Arm is in a sling and i go see the orthopedic specialist Friday to see whether I can keep it in a sling, get a cast, or have surgery and have a pin inserted! :headwall:

sarettah 08-01-2004 09:48 PM

Damn TE, sorry to hear that shit...

Always sad when pets take sick :(

And the elbow... Damn OW !! Damn :(

Not to bring you down any further but please beware that trouble still always comes in threes...

be careful man....

TheEnforcer 08-01-2004 10:34 PM

I certainly hope that this time the third trouble decides to stay away!!

PornoDoggy 08-01-2004 10:38 PM

Sorry about your arm, and about your dog.

JoesHO 08-01-2004 10:39 PM

Smoke some pot, it is good for the inflamation in your elbow, and give the dog some pot, it might even cure his cancer, I hear rumors about that....

pushpills 08-01-2004 10:39 PM

Sorry to hear.

If it helps any I've had nearly identical things happen, and I'm still kickin'!

best of luck, especially with the elbow (sorry but animals die...it happens...in fact I often eat them).

:inlove:

You eat dogs?

what are you part afgahnie?

pushpills 08-01-2004 10:41 PM

btw ice your elbow and splint it with two rulers so the bone will heal properly. mine didnt, but after a while it kinda stopped hurting.

You eat dogs?

no I eat dead animals. I didn't eat my dead dog...

but at least he had a decent life, not mass produced, tortured in an animal farm and then beheaded.

in the bad, we must find the good. I learned this without therapy! :okthumb:

TheEnforcer 08-01-2004 10:49 PM

Thanks folks. I certainly appreciate it.

sextoyking 08-02-2004 12:30 AM

Sorry to hear about your Dog and Arm :(

SykkBoy 08-02-2004 12:53 AM

Matt, sorry to hear of the rough weekend

you know I'm always available if you need to talk, my friend

naughty_weena 08-02-2004 02:48 AM

 sorry to hear that. i think you need to slow down a little.

Lisa 08-02-2004 06:23 AM

Matt, I do believe the appropriate treatment for your woes could be a one-on-one chat with an Aussie accent.

Why don't you email me your number and I'll call you tomorrow and you can tell me all your troubles. :)

Mike AI 08-02-2004 11:08 AM

TE that sucks to hear. Finding out that a faithful pet is going to pass soon is terrible. You need to try and enjoy your time with him now, and remember the good times.

TheEnforcer 08-02-2004 12:18 PM

Thanks again folks! Much appreciated!

Mike.. I spent a bunch of time with both my dogs over the weekend. They both seemed to sense I had hurst myself yesterday and snuggled up real close when I was watching some DVD's and went to bed.

Sykk.. thanks buddy, always know I can count on you!

Lisa, e-mail sent, hopefully to your correct address. Used your name at your employers .com!

VooMan 08-02-2004 12:31 PM

I'm sorry to hear that TE. I remember when the vet told me that my buddy Bandit was terminal, and it was the worst news I had ever heard. Make the most of the time you have. It will go a long way for both of you.

Sorry to hear about your dog TE.

TheEnforcer 08-02-2004 12:59 PM

Thanks folks.

Peaches 08-02-2004 01:01 PM

Well, I lost a ton o' money in Biloxi, but I'd rather have done that than have my dogs sick :(

Hope everything works out OK, TE! :inlove:

I have a theory when bad shit happens - and I agree it does tend to come in 3's

Its like in an explosion - before there is a sudden but definitive suction of matter and then and big bang. See the theory on how the universe was created HERE

When there is a sudden grouping of bad shit its just the universe (or whatever) preparing you for the great shit.... so you have the capacity to enjoy it........

So get ready TE - the good stuff is on its way!!!

My sympathies for your dog - losing one is hard no matter what the circumstances, but then again I agree with Jo - can't hurt and could help :)

Dravyk 08-03-2004 01:55 AM

Ouch, buddy. Sorry to hear things not going your way lately.

Don't worry, it will get better. Always does.

TheEnforcer 08-03-2004 11:34 AM

Thanks Dravyk! :okthumb:

Nickatilynx 08-03-2004 05:13 PM

TheEnforcer 08-03-2004 07:03 PM

Thanks VooMan and Nick!! :agrin:

*KK* 08-03-2004 10:12 PM

Oh shit, sorry to hear about both :(

The arm thing is one to pray on, last year when I broke my foot we waited two months and then I got the hardware insertion... 6 months in a cast total.

cj 08-03-2004 10:42 PM

TE, Lisa will make it all better ;-))))

Sorry to hear about your run of bad luck

poor doggy, its hard watching them in pain and not being able to do anything about it ... they look up at you with those big eyes 'make it go away' ... all you can do is give him lots of affection and make the rest of his days as relaxing and happy as possible.

TheEnforcer 08-04-2004 09:38 AM

Thanks KK and CJ, much appreciated!
