There is a special on tonight on the National Geographic Channel called Unlocking DaVinci's Code that looks pretty decent.

I've picked up the book at least 15 times to buy it to read....

I would love some feed back on why its soo interesting... maybe some motivation.......

Of course lately when I want to escape I'm for trashy romance novels or the wall street journal.

It basically is based on a premise that the Kinights templar have kept hidded a secret for centuries of the true nature of Christ and how the catholic church has covered up that truth. Good stuff. And if you read the book and wonder if there really is a sect of cathlocism called the Opus Dei, yes trere is, and that's rather disturbing in and of itself.

Oh being a J.A.P. (Jewish American Princess) This totally gets my attention!!

Going to pick it up tonight, but come on --- Was there any doubt?

its not on here, on the 22nd, but not on discovery. set the tivo to reord it.

As to the next question, it is just a good page turner, with excellently researched historical background

Those that like The DaVinci Code. I would Recommend "the rule of four". i am reading that, as well as Neal stephensons Quicksilver, and rereading "Friday night lights" probably the best sports book ever written, right up there with Cansella's "shoeless joe.

I also just finished "House of Leaves" a few months ago, a really bizarre read, but it sucks you in, genuinly scary on many levels. The Authors Name was Mark Z Danielewski, and it was by far th most interesting book of fiction i have ever read.

Also, thoroughly enjoyed "Criptonomicon" by Neal Stephenson. The history is so accurate, and the characters so hostorically accurate it was hard to tell what was fact and fiction.
