So, if an old friend I know
Drops by to say hello Would I still see suspicion in your eyes? Here we go again Asking where I’ve been You can’t see these tears are real I’m crying We can’t go on together With suspicious minds And be can’t build our dreams On suspicious minds When honey, you know I’ve never lied to you Mmm yeah, yeah We’re caught in a trap I can’t walk out Why can’t you see What you’re doing to me When you don’t believe a word I say? :wnw: :wnw: :wnw: |
Nick,
that was my first suspicion too! I wonder why you and me came to the same suspicion ;-))) |

Oh, btw, I do have a very good knowledge of the history of the business. Just not necessarily your end of it because it seems we don't work the same markets or do the same business or I am sure I would have heard of you. Last edited by gilgy at Jun 12 2004, 11:49 AM |

owned, eh. But it takes years of practice to know how to do it. I believe there are places you can take lessons if you are interested. Here you go, master if you wish to give it a try. http://www.oxford-union.org/mod.php?mod=us...0100&page_id=26 Last edited by gilgy at Jun 12 2004, 01:18 PM |

They, do, Nick. That is what they do best. It their raison d'etre. I thought you, of all people would understand that. But when it happens to you, it is not quite as obvious I suppose. How does it feel? I gotta say, I didn't think I would last this long. Especially in the company of experts at identity fraud like yourself. I am busy carving another notch in my keyboard as we speak. Gigly, English is not Rolo's native language. We, the "foreignors", are often picked up on our second language skills by: 1) rednecks 2) quazi intellectuals who can't pierce our logic and have to resort themselves to the hits below the belt. which camp you feel closer to or did I miss the third category? |

Where he claimed to be French. Then said he wasn't. Quasi is not a word I would choose, though Rollo might. He is hiding behind his lack of language skills. I know that. I actually do communicate with a lot of people whose first language is not English and have done for years, but Rollo is milking it. When you pierce the veil of his quasi intellectualism, you still turn up a dunkin donut. |
is that all storm in a tea pot over his mocking of Arab Media????

I don't see your goals for even having a sword
Then you are not looking deep enough, grasshopper. As in foreigners and language, the blade is a euphamism. As for reputation, many know me and what I do. I only have a fleeting knowledge of what you guys here do. I find it interesting, but does not influence my business in any way. We move in different circles. You have your little slice of the pie, and people like me have ours. |

As for your business and your circles, the key difference is: you have interest in ours and we have no interest in yours besides the usual curiosity. I don't see anybody here chasing you all over the internet ;-)))) |

I don't see anybody here chasing you all over the internet ;-))))
Mine is the usual curiosity as well. It seems that most here complain about how bad business is and how the gold rush is over and blah blah blah. It behooves me to keep an eye on what does not work and not make the same mistakes. There are however pearls among all the pickles that do help me make strategic decisions. The conversation can be amusing and at times, stimulating, unlike other boards. And a few people here have actually travelled which in itself is a breath of fresh air. I have yet to figure out why i am berated for my travels though. Through the grace of God and good fortune, I have managed to travel to more places than most ever will. But I made that decision in my twenties so I have a long history of it. If I hadn't travelled, I would probably be much richer than Mike. One Cobra would take me around the world. Cobra - world? I rest my case. |
you are berated for travels because:
you use your travels here as a status symbol (kinda like a weasel) and not as an educational value you are sharing with others. Folks here smell hypocracy and insencirety and show off a mile away. Every time I travel, I bring something to share with others, make their lives more interesting and horizons expanded... see the difference and the reason why I am never berated for mine? ...and I even have the link in my sig ;-))) |
Quote:
"you use your travels here as a status symbol" You need to look beyond your perception and wonder why it is you think this. Hell this is only an internet bitch board. |

The last time I saw a moron this mentally unstable on a board, he were wearing drool bibs and strapped to a chair sitting infront of his computer and browsing GFY :moon: |

Your apoplexy is becoming apparent. May I suggest breathing into a brown paper bag. It will stop the dizziness. Now go grab a baguette and a nice glass of pression and do whatever it is that Frenchmen do on a nice June afternoon. You know solve the problems of the world and watch the pretty girls promenade. |
Perception is REALITY and YOU have to ask yourself WHY people percieve you as they percieve you.
MY over the top bets???? What are you talking about?????? I don't gamble, despite always living in the states with legalized gamblings, I don't buy penny stocks on the hunch or otherwise. I hope you don't consider bank CD's with FDIC insurance or AAA rated ETF's as "bets over the top" ;-)))) once again you posted something with no substance and only purpose to antagonise. You succeeded, once again ;_))) |

let's dig deeper into this statement. I am here because I enjoy conversations with collegues, have lots of spare time on my hands and I practically live here. what draws YOU to this bitch board? you were banned, thrown out, and still you go thru extra effort to be back, and engage in conversations. tell me, what is this bitch board to YOU? |

I told you earlier why I was here. |

gilgy, If you aren't an escaped GFY moron, you are doing a first-rate impression of one :okthumb:
You are making the collective mind at GFY unstable by being here, you will soon have to return to your mothership, or watch the whole of your moron GFY race fall :) Now, is there anything else you want to know, before returning to your planet? :groucho: |

For one who is thinking of retiring because of failing internet business, I would be careful about who you call a hanger on. I think your fingernails might need a little attention shortly.
