It was bound to happen ... whether the prisoner scandal took place or not. The prisoner abuse scandal certainly made it far more likely, as well as providing both an excuse for this sort of conduct and pushing more Iraqis toward accepting this sort of conduct.

I'm sure this beheading was planned long before we started humiliating Iraqi POW's as this was al quaeda

if I remember right, our inital beef was with al quaeda anyways...so why haven't we cleaned up the mess in Afghanistan before making another mess in Iraq (and soon maybe Syria and North Korea)

If you think this whole Iraqi prisoner mess was bad with "untrained reservists" just wait until we get draftees over there who don't want to be there in the first place....
