What team will go far in the NFL that no one thinks is going to. Who is your upset special?

Mine in the Bears!

Lakers all the way baby!!!!

Bears baby !!!

I think Chicago loaded up on their offensive live. Adding some pro blowlers to their line to protect Grossman.
Plus, they loaded up nicely in the draft on Defensive line.

I look for a good year, next season.

mojobill 04-26-2004 12:09 PM

It WILL NOT be the Lions! :(

Mike AI 04-26-2004 12:25 PM

Lions had a solid draft.

Being cursed as a Saints fan, I am hoping the Saints make the run. We can follow our other NFC South brothers to the SuperBowl.

I think the Saints have the players, but do not have the coaching!

mojobill 04-26-2004 12:46 PM

Mike.. Lions had a very nice draft.... but they have had good draft's in the past, and it has not done them any good....

Forest 04-26-2004 12:55 PM

the Browns have a real QB this year

watch them go to the playoffs!

:bjump:

bpj 04-26-2004 02:16 PM

i'm actually optimistic about the Saints this year! of course, i see this every year at this time.... lol
New England looks like it will be the team to beat for years to come...
they are well on their way to being the next dynasty

I agree with your point about Patriots... a very well run organization!

Vick 04-26-2004 06:03 PM

Very challenging to be a Dynasty in the NFL now

If Brady goes out for the Pats who's the backup? They still don't have a solid running game.

That's not to say the Pats aren't a great team and have an excellent organization

Anything can and will happen in the NFL

TheEnforcer 04-26-2004 07:51 PM

BEARS?? ROFLMFAO!!

We'll sweep their asses yet again this year!! :rokk: :nyanya:

You mean they "used to" not have a running game....
They signed Corey Dillon from Cinn and picked up Cedric Cobbs out of Ark in the draft (who is a hoss)!

I agree, very tough to be a dynasty in this day and age.... but having won two out of three Super Bowls already and clearly the team to be again... they are well on their way! lol

Dillion's best days may be behind him, we'll see how Cobbs develops

Remember how strong Tampa Bay looked after their Super Bowl win .... and they didn't even get to the dance last year

Thank you
we have the executive of the year
he's the personnel guy

I remember when Miami said Marino was hired
Boston sports radio said no way in hell would Marino work 16 hour days to build the Dolphins
and sure enough
he was let go/quit within 2 weeks
dan its a real job, running the front office

Lions had a good draft
Bears got my Tommie Harris, i'l get a jersey
wear it to OU game
Patriots got Vince to put in the middle, replacing departed Ted Washington
that TE we got was da shit at the combine
224 for 34 reps i think
35 inch veritcal leap
he's what? 250?
tall
he's a freak

Vick we won 2 super bowls with antoine smith running
dillon and and the razorback are an improvement
we don't need corey to run 275 yards in a game
how about 90

oh I'm moving to Tampa so I guess I'll see some Buc's games
atleast the sox visit the devil rays a few times
spring training i'll buy tickets to all the yanks games then scalp them

Vick 04-27-2004 01:55 PM

Meni - the Pats are definitely a great team, we all know how hard it is to be a contender year after year in today's NFL (the era of free agency and salary cap)

I'm not up on the Pats salary cap position (for the next few years) and who is going to be eligible for free agency

Again this is why the front office and player personnel guys are so important

Detroit dude....great draft and if the chemistry is right, they might have a shot at the playoffs.
