And no, I DON'T mean wife/girlfriend/boyfriend swapping, you perverts. :P

I have about 40 books that are literally sitting on my floor that I attempted to sell at Amazon. I had a big rush on some best sellers but most of the others are being sold by my "competition" for a penny to 10 cents on Amazon. :(

I was paying $1.42 to $2.56 to ship them so it's not expensive to ship book rate in the US. You pay more than that to Amazon to get that penny book, so it would be a good deal even if you buy used there.

Any thoughts?

No where to put them :( I might end up getting some for the basement but I can't read a book twice. It seems rather silly to keep a bunch of books around I'm never going to read when there are people out there who WILL read them :)

I've keeps all the kid's books for when my nieces and nephews (and I supposed one day, far into the future, grandchilren) come to visit :)

Two options there Peaches.

1st- Buy some totes and make some space in the garage/attic/basement for them

2nd- Find a used book store and trade them in for credit at the store or cash if you find one that pays it.

#1 is where I got most of them out of - I finally realized my house is too small and rented a storage unit. But the humidity was so bad I got all the books out. I'm in the process of repacking everything paper. Oy.

#2 I think is a good plan. There's a little bookstore on the square here. I might see if he'd be willing to work out a trade - good idea - thanks! :)

Peaches,

I have 1000s of books and always eager for more, please post a list...
Please indicate which are HC vs SC if you can... ;^)

Here's what I have on Amazon. My Dad called me yesterday - seems he's clearing out his books and wanted to know if I wanted some. Oy.

As you can see, I have girly tastes and mostly novels :awinky: A couple of these are "pool books" and aren't in great shape but no pages are missing. I'll let you know the specifics if you want. I ended up selling about 30 on Amazon but these aren't moving :(
